Pastor Jim Gross and his wife Robin both came to know Jesus in 1985. After living their lives for themselves, they both found forgiveness and acceptance in the arms of Jesus!
Shortly after, Jim became involved in the prison ministry of their church. He wanted to tell others about this Jesus who loved them! Almost immediately, Jim and Robin began feeling the tug of the Holy Spirit in their hearts to begin ministering full-time. So, a few years after receiving salvation, Jim and Robin began studying to be licensed ministers. After being licensed, Jim left his "real job", and became a full-time minister.
Over the next decade, Jim and Robin worked in the ministry as evangelists and teachers, also serving as Youth Pastors at Trinity Full Gospel in Zanesville, OH, then as Senior Pastors at Flat Ridge Community Church in Flat Ridge, OH.
In 1998, God led them to start a church in Coshocton, OH, and The Word Worship Center was born! Pastor Jim has been ministering in the Coshocton County Justice Center regularly, and between the two of them, Pastors Jim and Robin have over 20 years of Pastoral experience.
But qualifications and experience mean nothing without love! Pastors Jim and Robin are firm believers in the loving Power of Jesus to deliver people from all bondage and wash them clean from sin! All glory goes to Him.
