We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down but not destroyed. 2 Cor. 4:8 & 9

Prayer Requests:
1. Peg Gibson: loss of brother and sister within 2 weeks; touch from Jesus
2. Upcoming Way of the Master Seminar
3. Upcoming Crooning for Christ Concert
4. Shirley Balcom: Diagnosed with cancer

Praise Report Prayer Request: Jim Davis, who has been on our prayer list several times, was told he was in remission. In reality, his cancer has spread and the doctor told him to get his house in order. Jim knows the Lord and does not fear death. But he was given false hope and that had to have messed with his mind. Please help rebuke the devil from having any more effect on Jim so that he can spend his last days on this earth surrounded by the Peace that passes all understanding.

Beginners Guitar Course: Lessons will begin on April 5 at 6pm for anyone aged 10 years old and up. Anyone is welcome, even if they don’t attend our church. Students will need their own guitar. Lessons will last anywhere from 1 to 1½ hours, depending on the need, and will be every Thursday. There will be a sign up sheet at the register in the Central Elementary side vestibule. It will be there a couple of weeks so if you need to sign up as friend next week it will still be there.

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT…CHILD TRAINING continued
By J. Richard Fugate

God Is The Ultimate Authority
Daniel 4:35 “And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and
he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among
the inhabitants of the earth, and none can stay His hand, or say
unto Him, What doest thou?”
“And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing” is a relative statement. It establishes a relationship between God’s absolute position of authority (right to rule) and mankind’s position of authority. Nebuchadnezzar, the speaker in this verse, is king over a mighty kingdom, and he is saying that even as king he has no right to say to God, “What are you doing?” Notice that the boundaries of God’s rule include both the inhabitants of earth and the entire angelic creation.
The conclusion from these verses, and many others on the subject, is that God as the Creator has the right to set the policy for all His creation according to His own will. He has the ultimate position of rulership above all the creatures whereby He may direct their actions. He also has the power to administer justice; in other words, the authority belongs to God, any legitimate right to rule must be delegated by Him.
