Those of you wanting to help with the Habitat for Humanity house, information is posted on the bulletin board by the door.
$2000 in 2010
Fundraiser 1: We are collecting cell phones, ink cartridges and laser ink cartridges. If you know someone who works in an office please see if we can have the empty ink cartridges. We get money in return for them. There is a box on the table in the lobby for drop off.
Fundraiser 2: Roscoe Village has approved us for a booth during the Apple Butter Stirin’ Festival on Oct. 16 -18. We have received some very nice items from Bill and Shannon Wilde but could use some other items. The items for sale must be handmade crafts or original art. I have been approved to sell home canned jams/jellies and knit/crochet items. Shannon would like to set up a time to teach anyone willing to learn how to knit or crochet. Demonstrations are encouraged as well as costume although it’s not required. However, there is a dress code. Anyone interested in working the booth? Please see Robin if interested.
