Prayer Requests:
1. Nathan Coakley – PTL! He got to go home this week.
2. Julie Mulford, Danielle Brown, Matt Smith – strength; giving up smoking
3. Brenda Hoover – Birthday on Thursday
4. Jensen Green - Unspoken
Bible Study: No study tonight due to holiday.
Thanksgiving Dinner: Today right after morning service. Please stay and break bread with your brethren
Wednesday Night Service: This will be a communion service. No children’s classes. Let’s make it a real time of thanksgiving to our God
PRAISE THE LORD! We have raised the $2000 pledge with the final amount coming in by donation. We can’t thank you enough for working so hard to raise the money and also a huge thanks to the money donor. May God richly bless you all. God is so good to us! We had an unexpected expense come up with having to put the church computer in the shop. We have a T-shirt fundraiser in the works that can now pay for that repair. ($150)
The Secret Life of Word Worship Center: Someone unlocked the door in the nursery and left it that way. What would be the reason for that? Maybe it was to make a quick get-a-way. Or maybe it was to grab a quick smoke. Maybe someone wanted to come back later to meet privately with God. Who knows? It’s a mystery. Also, someone came into this church on Thursday and unlocked the Walnut St. door and left it unlocked. Surely they weren’t doing an experiment to see if thieves could get away with the keyboard, sound system and drums? To me, it’s a mystery. God knows.
"Church Christmas party is Fri. Dec. 18th @ 6:30 at the Orange Grange. Bring covered dish of your choice. There will be a Christmas play, kids choir will be ministering, as well as D.O.C. Please plan to come and bring a friend!"
