America in Bloom in Coshocton. This would involve trimming the shrubs and planting flowers in the flower bed.
Apple Butter Stirrin’ Festival: I need to know who is interested in having a booth and who is interested in working a booth if we have one. See Robin.
Red Cross Blood Drive: For 2 years now, we have participated in this event by donating the snacks for a day and volunteers to take care of the snack area. This will not be done if there is no one to volunteer. I need to know quickly so that the coordinator has a little time to replace us. It will be June 16 from 12 to 6. See Robin.
Bible-On-Display: Once again we are doing Bible-On-Display here at the church. There will be two $25 prizes this year. One for ages 6 – 11 and one for ages 12 – 18. Children under 6 are encouraged to participate; there will be a small participation prize for them. Displays are due by May 1st.

Muslim man in Egypt killed his wife because she was reading the Bible and then buried her with their infant baby and an 8-year-old daughter. The girls were buried alive! Then He reported to the police that an uncle killed the kids. Fifteen days later, another family member died. When they went to bury him, they found the 2 little girls under the sand – ALIVE!
The country is outraged over the incident, and the man will be executed. The older girl was asked how she had survived and she said, ‘A man wearing shiny clothes, with bleeding wounds in his hands, came every day to feed us. He woke up my mom so she could nurse my sister.’
She was interviewed on Egyptian National TV, by availed Muslim woman news anchor. She said on public TV, ‘This was none other than JESUS, because nobody else does things like this!’ Muslims believe Isaac (JESUS) would do this, but the wounds mean He really was crucified, and it’s clear also that He is alive! But, it’s also clear that the child could not make up a story like this, and there is no way these children could have survived without a true miracle.
Muslim leaders are going to have a hard time to figure out what to do with this, and the popularity of the Passion movie doesn’t help! With Egypt at the center of the media and education in the Middle East, you can be sure this story will spread. Christ is still turning the world upside down! Please let this story be shared. The Lord says, ‘I will bless the person who puts his trust in me.

Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me. By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life. I say to God my Rock, "Why have you forgotten me? Why must I go about mourning, oppressed by the enemy?" My bones suffer mortal agony as my foes taunt me, saying to me all day long, "Where is your God?" Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. Psalm 42:7-11
