Women’s Bible Study: Tonight at 6pm

Bible-On-Display: Pastors will stay to keep the church open until you can get your child’s Bible-On-Display set up. Please place them downstairs on the table with report placed by it. The judging will take place on December 6. There will be $50 prizes given for 2 different age groups.

Wanted: If you are getting rid of anything that would be suitable as a Christmas present please see Robin. There are folks calling the Women of Witness office looking for anything for their kids including used things. Thanks.

It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Christmas Fellowship: December 12 at 6pm (or as soon as you can get there) at the fire station across from Carter Lumber. A SILENT AUCTION is being planned for part of the fun. There are quite a few NEW THINGS which are going for the silent auction. A few of the items… (UPDATED) NEW Camouflage knives, NEW Soft sided picnic cooler and tote, NEW Overnight Travel Bag. Also there is going to be a drawing for a BEAUTIFUL door prize. We want all of you to come for what promises to be a fantastic night of FUN. Also, please bring your family and friends to join us as we always enjoy meeting those that are dear to you. The menu worked out so well for our Thanksgiving Fellowship, we are going to do the same for the Christmas fellowship. A menu sheet for the Christmas Fellowship is on the rear radiator, please sign up for a dish or two.

Holiday Sign-up: There is also a sign-up sheet on the back register for the children who will be coming to the Christmas fellowship. Please be sure to sign up any guest children as well. We don’t want to leave anyone out of the fun. Thanks.

We are looking for a Nursery Teacher for Sunday School.

Don't let worship become a noun
It's very exciting to see the explosion of worship in the church at large. We get a taste of heaven when we experience powerful corporate worship. And once we have a taste, we can't forget the sweetness.
As musical worship has erupted over the last 25 years, it has become a main ingredient for most churches and there is an entire industry that has developed to support it. This is not a bad thing, but we must be careful not to let worship become a noun - this thing that we program and build our services around. Instead let the noun be who we are (worshipers) instead of something we plan. Worship is something we will do for eternity in heaven. There, it will be only a verb.
