Church Bowling: What a fun night! Pastor & I enjoy spending time with you so much!
Habitat for Humanity: Those of you who want to volunteer, I have a message left with them and am waiting for a reply. Will contact you when I hear something.
9/11 Remembrance: Coming Sept. 12, 9/11 survivor, George Sleigh, will be at the Career Center to share his account. Read more about it on the bulletin board by the Central School entrance.
Fundraiser: We are collecting cell phones, ink cartridges and laser ink cartridges. If you know someone who works in an office please see if we can have the empty ink cartridges. We get money in return for them.
$2000 in 2010
Roscoe Village is offering a booth during the Apple Butter Stirin’ Festival on Oct. 16 -18. This could possibly be an opportunity to make some money towards our $2,000 pledge. The items for sale must be handmade crafts or original art. Demonstrations are encouraged as well as costume although it’s not required. Anyone interested in working the booth if we are accepted?
Shonda came up with a great idea for a fundraiser – selling delivered box lunches around town. Any thoughts?
Those of you who like home baked goods, keep checking the table in the lounge area. No guarantees, but periodically there will be items for sale there. There may be other items offered for sale as well.
