Women’s Bible Study: Tonight at 6pm here at the church.
HELP WANTED: The church’s My Space Manager
More volunteers to clean the church See Robin if interested. My thanks to those of you who stepped up to the plate.
Free Books: The table in the lounge is full of children’s books that have been discarded by Union grade school. Some have gone to a small private school and the rest will be taken to the Save-n-Serve shop in Millersburg. You are invited to take anything you would like. There are boxes available if you need one. One note of caution though. These books are secular and have nothing to do with Christianity. They are simply children’s storybooks. Help yourself
Youth Choir News: Change in Youth Choir practice to Sunday’s at 4:00 pm. Special planned at West Lafayette Care Center on October 4 at 6:00 pm with Young At Heart Ministries and Care Center residents. Pizza will be delivered after service. It’s not too late to join the choir. We have ongoing open enrollment.
Brandi (Sandy Brown’s Daughter) is having a baby shower on Saturday, September 20th, at 1:00 pm at Warsaw Fire station (located beside the ice cream place in Warsaw). R.S.V.P with Tracy at 824-4974
Shiloh Baptist Church is preparing to open a shelter to house homeless people. They need volunteers to help keep it open. The volunteers would be needed for 3 – 6 hours per week. I can guarantee there is a need for such a place. I deal with homeless people quite often through Women of Witness. Please consider helping out with this if you have some free time. The shelter will open on October 5 so please call soon. You can call 622-3632 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. I believe she said her name is Brooke but not sure on that.
Attention Cleaning Crews: It is OK now to mop the upstairs floors. The downstairs can’t be mopped until October. Thanks.
Church Directories are on the register in the back of the church. Don’t forget to pick one up
Congratulations! Dave and Keri Arotin came to the revival, came to church, got saved, got married, and had a beautiful little girl this past week. Whew! We are delighted to welcome this new family and as a way to show our love and to welcome them, there will be a diaper shower for them next Sunday. Bring a pack of diapers (and anything else the Lord lays on your heart) and load up the table by the door. Let’s show them how loving their new church family can be
