VBS Meeting: LET’S TRY THIS AGAIN Anyone interested in helping create this year’s Vacation Bible School please meet down front immediately following morning service.

Discipleship Class: Next class will be this Tuesday, May 5. You may choose a class at 10:30 am or 6:30pm
Creation Museum: LAST CALL We are planning a field trip to the Creation Museum in Cincinnati for school. May 28 – 29. We will depart early on the 28th and return late the 29th. We invite you to join us. The cost is Adult (2 days): $30, Children (2 days: $15), Under 5 (2 days): free, Seniors 60 yrs and up: $23. The cost of hotel room not determined yet. See Robin.

An Invitation to the Men: You are invited to a men’s prayer breakfast May 2 at the Nazarene church from 8am to 9am. You must let pastor know so he can give a count to the church.
National Day of Prayer: On Thursday, May 7, Women of Witness will once again have the reading of the Bible at the courthouse. There is a sign up sheet in the back. The event will begin at 6:30 pm; they ask that you come just a little early. If you have never experienced this come see Robin for more details.
Prayer Request: Our son, Dan, his lovely wife, Melissa, and a couple of friends are coming to town to work on details for a movie they hope to shoot here (his hometown). They are working on a shoestring and are hoping to find as many freebies as possible. This is a true “mommy” prayer request that they would find favor with those they meet with (city officials, filming crew at OSU, etc.) I knew I could count on my church family
Casserole Fundraiser: In our ongoing effort to raise money for our Women of Faith Conference, the Women’s Bible Study Group will be serving a variety of casseroles, salad & desert downstairs immediately following this morning’s service. No set price. All we ask is that you make a fair donation to us. What would you spend if you ate out somewhere? This is good food and the money will go for a good cause Thanks for your support.

Word Worship Center welcomes Domanick Christopher Dorsey (Born on April 9th) into the world! May he become a mighty man of God.
Attending a wedding for the first time, a little girl whispered to her mother, 'Why is the bride dressed in white?'' The mother replied, 'Because white is the color of happiness, and today is the happiest day of her life.' The child thought about this for a moment then said, 'So why is the groom wearing black?'
A little girl, dressed in her Sunday best, was running as fast as she
could, trying not to be late for Bible class. As she ran she prayed,
'Dear Lord, please don't let me be late! Dear Lord, please don't let me
be late!' While she was running and praying, she tripped on a curb and fell, getting her clothes dirty and tearing her dress. She got up, brushed
herself off, and started running again! As she ran she once again began
to pray, 'Dear Lord, please don't let me be late.....But please don't
shove me either!'

Homeschool Fundraiser: The girls (Sharhonda & Cona) are having a Bible Read-a-Thon to help raise the funds to cover the cost of their week-end in Columbus (Youth Conference). They need sponsors to pledge “x” amount per chapter read. They will be reading on April 17. Their pledge sheet is on the table by the Central Elementary door. Thanks for your help.
