Settling the “Abba/Father - Daddy/Papa” Question: as found in Mark 14:36, Romans 8:15, and Galatians 4:6.
Amplified Version: 36And He was saying, Abba, [which means] Father, everything is possible for You. Take away this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You [will]. (Interpreted by using a Greek-English Lexicon)
King James: 36And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
NIV: 36"Abba,[a] Father," he said, "everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will." [a] Aramaic for Father
Nowhere was Abba interpreted as Daddy or Papa. We serve a holy, righteous God - Your righteousness reaches to the skies, O God, you who have done great things. Who, O God, is like you? Psalm 71:19 Your ways, O God, are holy. What god is so great as our God? Psalm 77:13 In Isaiah 55:8 it says. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. Nowhere in the Bible, are we told to refer to God as Daddy or Papa. Though it does sound neat to our ears and “blesses our heart”, we had better stick with the Word since His thoughts don’t seem to support this little “nickname”.

More about the “Women of Mission”
“In these dark days, the need for mercy is greater than ever.”
-Quotation from the character, Duncan, in the movie: ”Robinhood, Prince of Thieves”
Words from the secular world, but how very true! Our government says that our economy is getting better, but there are still so many families that are suffering, still lacking the most basic of necessities.
Here at the Word Worship Center, the Women of Mission are trying to help relieve some of that suffering. We are making and collecting items for babies to be taken to the Pregnancy Distress Center, and for the preemie babies in the Neo-Natal ICU at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
For anyone who wishes to join in, yarn, fabric and patterns are available. For those who do not sew or do needlework, donations of other baby items will be greatly appreciated, as well as prayer for the recipients. For more information please call Shannon Wilde at 622-1529.
May God bless our efforts and help the workers, as we work to save a nation, one child at a time.

• Many folks want to serve God, but only as advisors.
• God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called.
• Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain.

"After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: "Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb." Revelation 7:9-10

"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit." Galatians 3:13-14
