Prayer Requests:
1. Luis Palau – that he gets to preach in Tienem Square in China
2. Area school children as they head back to school this week.
Women’s Bible Study: Cancelled for tonight.
Baptism Fellowship: Today, following morning service, at Tony and Connie Williams’ house. Bring a covered dish and a lawn chair if you’d like. If you would like to be baptized see Pastor Jim.

Sad Goodbyes and Happy Tomorrows: Ernie and Teresa Carpenter have decided to relocate to Alabama – Ernie is already there and the family will follow asap. This is something they have talked about doing for some time now. So I am so sad to see them go but glad to see them realizing a dream. Please pray for Teresa as she has to have surgery before she goes. (Sept. 2) Pray for the whole family as they make these changes. (This includes Cindy Carpenter and Doris & Ernie Huston.)
HELP WANTED: The following positions are opening up: Sunday School class teacher for ages 9 – 12. Junior Church teacher for ages 3 – 5. Janitorial Manager My Space Manager Temporary Chauffer See Robin if interested.
WWC Youth Choir invites you to join them at the Care Center on Aug. 23 at 6pm to support them as they sing for the residents and their families. For more information see Renee Corbett.

Jude 18-25 "In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires." These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. Be merciful to those who doubt; snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh. To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
