WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT…CHILD TRAINING continued
By J. Richard Fugate
Mankind is Now Reproduced in the “Likeness of Adam”

Genesis 5:3 “And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness after his image;…”

Mankind no longer exists in the state of original creation, but has been altered according to the image of corrupted humanity. This state has been perpetuated through birth.
Romans 5:12 “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for all have sinned.”
Romans 5:18a “Therefore, as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation,”
Ephesians 2:1 “And you hath he made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins:”
The results of this fallen state are threefold:
1. Each member of the human race is born with a moral, physical body (subject to physical death).
2. Each is born with his spirit separated from fellowship with God (in a state of spiritual death).
3. Each ids born with a soul that is subject to9 the penalty for sin (eternal condemnation).
It is in this condition that a child enters the world. Until a child becomes cognizant of sin, righteousness, and judgment, he is protected by God’s law of accountability. Once a child becomes accountable, his personal acts of sin vindicate the righteousness of God’s judgment. (It is beyond the scope of this book to develop the doctrine of accountability.)

A little boy opened the big and old family Bible with fascination, looking at the old pages as he turned them. Then something fell out, and he picked it up and looked at it closely. It was an old leaf from a tree that had been pressed in between the pages.
"Momma, look what I found," the boy called out.
"What have you got there, dear?" his mother asked.
With astonishment in the his voice, he answered, "It's Adam's Suit!"
