Stuffed Toy Drive: We are collecting stuffed animals to be given out to patients at area nursing homes & extended care/hospital. Put your donations in the box by the media display in the Welcome Lounge. Must be clean and no tears please. Thank you.
Prayer Open House: The church will be open Tuesday morning at 7am and stay open for prayer until Pastor Jim is out of surgery. Please feel free to stop in at any time to lift him in prayer.

Baked Goods: The Teens are raising money for their trip to ATF in Cleveland. The table by the water fountain has baked goods for sale for this purpose. Please consider supporting them with a purchase. Thanks.
Secret Sisters: The table will be located in the entryway facing Walnut Street until VBS is over. Thanks for your cooperation in finding the missing name. From now on, please make sure to put your name on the back of the paper you draw (every 3 months) and drop it into the box. This helps alleviate a bunch of phone calls if there is a problem. Thanks.
Church Yard Sale: If you haven’t signed up to work the yard sale, please see Sis. Becky Treat. We need your help more than ever now that Pastor & I won’t be able to help much. We can’t find words to tell you how grateful we are to have a church like you! We know we don’t have to worry because you showed us how great you are when Pastor had his stroke and you pulled together to move the church. You were awesome!!! And you still are!!! I’ll try to be around a bit but no guarantees Robin
Important Meeting: Sis. Cindy needs to meet with ANYONE and EVERYONE who will commit to help in some way during the week of VBS. Please come at 6pm this coming Wednesday for a brief meeting to determine how much help she will have that week. She needs to assign positions so that everyone knows what they are doing. Many hands make light work. The more of you that come to help, the more blessed the week will become. Please join us.
Yard Sale Set Up: This Tuesday night, 5pm or after, if you have a truck and can help haul boxes to the Fairgrounds for the yard sale, please let Sis. Becky Treat know. It would also be a blessing to have a crew at the barn at the fairgrounds to help unload those boxes. Then 9am Wednesday morning, we will begin setting up. If enough showed up for that, there wouldn’t be anyone who had to miss church Wednesday night if they didn’t want to. This is a big job but many hands make light work. We need YOU!!
Prayer Warriors Needed: Bro. Steve Mercer is seeking men, women & children who will commit to pray during August for the 2nd ward of Coshocton (our church is on the border line). There is a sign up sheet on the back radiator so please consider joining this prayer army and sign up.

The Duck & the Devil
There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm. He
was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods. He practiced in the woods, but he could never hit the target. Getting a little discouraged, he headed back for dinner. As he was
walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck. Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head, and killed it. He was shocked and grieved. In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile, only to see his sister watching! Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing. After lunch the next day Grandma said, "Sally, let's wash the dishes." But Sally said, "Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen. Then she whispered to him, "Remember the duck? So Johnny did the dishes. Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing and Grandma said, "I'm sorry but I need Sally to help make supper." Sally just smiled and said," Well that's all right because Johnny told me he wanted to help." She whispered again, "Remember the duck?" So Sally went fishing and Johnny stayed to help. After several days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sallys... he finally couldn't stand it any longer. He came to Grandma and confessed that he had killed the duck. Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug, and said, sweetheart, I knew. You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing, but because I love you, I forgave you. I was just wondering how long you would let Sally make a slave of you."

Whatever is in your past, whatever you have done... and the devil keeps throwing it up in your face (lying, cheating, debt, fear, bad habits, hatred, anger, bitterness, etc.).whatever it is....You need to know that God was standing at the window and He saw the
whole thing..... He has seen your whole life. He wants you to know that He loves you and that you are forgiven. He's just wondering how long you will let the devil make a slave of you. The great thing about God is that when you ask for forgiveness, He not only forgives you, but He forgets. It is by God's grace and mercy that we are saved. Always remember: God is at the window.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT:
Dear God, I have a problem, it's me.
Faith is the ability to not panic.
Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.
When we get tangled up in our problems, be still.
God wants us to be still so He can untangle the knot.
No one falls in love by  chance , it is by  choice .  No one stays in love by chance, it is by  WORK.  And no one falls out of love by chance,  it is by CHOICE.  Jesus is the love of my life. I fell in love with Him and have never turned back. May it ring from the rooftops. May I ever proclaim it. JESUS IS THE LOVE OF MY ETERNAL SOUL!

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God." Ephesians 2:8

New Life Ministries Block Party: What a wonderful time it was! Teresa Coakley and her back up singers (Arminta, Timothy, and Emily Coakley) started the evening out with a couple of songs. There was free food and drink, live entertainment, lots of friendly folks, and games. I especially enjoyed the dunking cage and watching Pastor Granger being dropped into the tank I encourage more of you to attend next year and be in prayer for community involvement. This was a wonderful community activity for the family and New Life Ministries did an excellent job in putting it together.
Street Ministry: There was a nice turn out of youth participation. 100 more flyers were passed out. Keep these homes in your prayers.
FYI: Timothy Coakley has a part in The Music Man being performed at Triple Locks Theater. We enjoyed the production and were very proud of our Timothy. He did an excellent job. Contact theater for dates and times and ticket info.
THANK YOU: What a wonderful relaxing time we had in Virginia. The mountains were beautiful! Our send off was such an inspiring event, I will forever be grateful to our Lord for allowing me to know such love! Your sacrifice of time and energy is humbling to me, for I don’t deserve this kind of dedication! But… Hallelujah!!! The computer is paid for!!! I just want everyone that worked the fundraisers to know that I appreciate it! I love you!

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine…Proverbs 17:22.
This one’s for you, ladies
Women over 50 don't have babies because they would put them down and forget where they left them. One of life's mysteries is how a 2 pound box of candy can make a woman gain 5 lbs. My mind not only wanders, it sometime leaves completely. The best way to forget all your troubles is to wear really tight shoes. The nice part about living in a small town is that when you don't know what you're doing, someone else does. Just when I was getting used to yesterday, along came today. Sometimes I think I understand everything, then I regain consciousness. I gave up jogging for my health when my thighs kept rubbing together and setting my pantyhose on fire. Amazing! You hang something in your closet for awhile and it shrinks two sizes! Skinny people irritate me! Especially when they say things like, "You know, sometimes I just forget to eat." Now I've forgotten my address, my mother's maiden name, and my keys. But I've never forgotten to eat. I read this article that said the typical symptoms of stress are: eating too much, impulse buying, and driving too fast. Are they kidding? That is my idea of a perfect day.
Just as the psalmist says: We are fearfully and wonderfully made. We may have our little quirks and idiosyncrasies, but we are made masterpieces at the hand of the Master Artist!!!

Attention Secret Sisters: There has been some sort of mix up. We have a sister without a name. The best way to figure this out is to have you write down whose name you have and sign it, Then deposit it in the slotted wooden box on the Secret Sister table by the door. Please do this TODAY so we can get this figured out. Thank you!

Happy Birthday: Monday: Cona Thorpe Wednesday: Barb Bryant
Happy Anniversary: Today: Bill & Becky Treat

Once upon a time there was a rich King who had four wives.  He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to the finest of delicacies.  He gave her nothing but the best. He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighboring kingdoms.  However, he feared that one day she would leave him for another. He also loved his 2nd wife.  She was his confidant and was always kind, considerate and patient with him.  Whenever the King faced a problem, he could confide in her, and she would help him get through the difficult times. The King's 1st wife was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom.  However, he did not love the first wife.  Although she loved him deeply, he hardly ever took notice of her! One day, the King fell ill and he knew his time was short.  He thought of his luxurious life and wondered, "I now have four wives with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone." Thus, he asked the 4th wife, "I have loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you.  Now that I'm dying, will
you follow me and keep me company?" "No way!” replied the wife, and she walked away without another word. Her answer cut like a sharp knife right into his heart. The sad King then asked the 3rd wife, "I have loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No!” replied the 3rd wife.  "Life is too good!  When you die, I'm going to remarry!"  His heart sank and turned cold. He then asked the 2nd wife, "I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?" "I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!” replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only send you to your grave." Her answer came like a bolt of lightning, and the King was devastated. Then a voice called out: "I'll leave with you and follow you no matter
where you go." The King looked up, and there was his first wife.  She was so skinny as she suffered from malnutrition and neglect.  Greatly grieved, the King said, "I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!" In truth, we all have 4 wives in our lives:  Our 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it will leave us when we die. Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth.  When we die, it will all go to others. Our 2nd wife is our family and friends.  No matter how much they have been there for us, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave. And our 1st wife is our Soul, often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the world.  However, our Soul is the only thing that will follow us wherever we go.  So cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now, for it is the only part of us who will follow us to the throne of God and continue with us throughout Eternity
.

(#2) Hello Beloved Pastors Jim & Robin Gross and Congregation of Word Worship Center, We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing. (2 Thessalonians 1:3) "Increase my faith, O Lord." "Increase our strength," "Increase our wisdom," "Increase our knowledge." We often pray for these things, but when is the last time you thanked God for your love increasing? Can you think of anything more exciting to say about your church (your brothers and sisters in Christ) than "The love every one of you has for each other is ever increasing!" Lets pray and act to make it so! Beloved Pastors Jim & Robin Gross how is the ministry, i hope there no problem, i am really bothered about you all because it is long I held from you, please do let me know if you have mail the Bibles to me and how is will i be expecting them. Holy Father, may Your love so fill us that we can help and share it with everyone we come in contact with, especially others who call on Your name as we do. May this love grow and increase in our lives so others may readily see its benefits and recognize that it is a direct response to Your lavish love shared on us through Jesus. In Jesus, Name, I pray. Amen. I hope to hear from you very soon. In His Service, Bro. Jeffery Ogie.

The Will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.
