"Church Christmas party is Sat. Dec. 19th @ 6:30 at the Orange Grange. Bring covered dish of your choice. There will be a Christmas play, kids choir will be ministering, as well as D.O.C. Please plan to come and bring a friend!"
We, Richard and Marian, would like to express our thankfulness for the acceptance and warmth the church has expressed on our pending marriage.
We, however, have decided to stay friends and neighbors as opposed to husband and wife as we feel we are better friends than we would be spouses.
In expressing our thankfulness, we would also like to express our deepest desire to stay with the church and share our love of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Yours Truly,
Richard and Marian
Johnny’s mother looked out the window and noticed him "playing church" with their cat. He had the cat sitting quietly and he was preaching to it. She smiled and went about her work. A while later she heard loud meowing and hissing and ran back to the open window to see Johnny baptizing the cat in a tub of water. She called out, "Johnny, stop that! The cat is afraid of water!" Johnny looked up at her and said, "He should have thought about that before he joined my church."

Bible Study: No study tonight due to holiday.
Thanksgiving Dinner: Today right after morning service. Please stay and break bread with your brethren
Wednesday Night Service: This will be a communion service. No children’s classes. Let’s make it a real time of thanksgiving to our God
PRAISE THE LORD! We have raised the $2000 pledge with the final amount coming in by donation. We can’t thank you enough for working so hard to raise the money and also a huge thanks to the money donor. May God richly bless you all. God is so good to us! We had an unexpected expense come up with having to put the church computer in the shop. We have a T-shirt fundraiser in the works that can now pay for that repair. ($150)
The Secret Life of Word Worship Center: Someone unlocked the door in the nursery and left it that way. What would be the reason for that? Maybe it was to make a quick get-a-way. Or maybe it was to grab a quick smoke. Maybe someone wanted to come back later to meet privately with God. Who knows? It’s a mystery. Also, someone came into this church on Thursday and unlocked the Walnut St. door and left it unlocked. Surely they weren’t doing an experiment to see if thieves could get away with the keyboard, sound system and drums? To me, it’s a mystery. God knows.
"Church Christmas party is Fri. Dec. 18th @ 6:30 at the Orange Grange. Bring covered dish of your choice. There will be a Christmas play, kids choir will be ministering, as well as D.O.C. Please plan to come and bring a friend!"

Have you visited the yard sale/bake sale/bazaar table? You might find something you wanted/needed for a decent price and support your church at the same time.

THE SECRET LIFE AT WORD WORSHIP CENTER: Such mysteries abound here at the House of God! For two weeks in a row now, an open can of diet Dr. Pepper was found with hardly any of the tasty drink removed. Such a waste! Was it paid for? Only God knows. A brown canvas bag containing books, lesson items, and a tape recorder has vanished into thin air! How could this be? It’s a mystery!!! Thursday morning, a special package was left in the toilet in the ladies’ restroom. Ah but the mysterious nature of the thing continues! A roll of toilet paper was on the floor along side a can of air freshener which apparently was sprayed all over the floor, a brilliant deduction made from the fact that the floor was like ice from the slippery film. Whatever shall we do?
